The Long Hop is the latest chapter in our journey, bringing the spirit of great pubs to the heart of Burton-upon-Trent. Founded by cricketers Stuart Broad and Harry Gurney, our mission has always been simple: serve quality food and drink, create welcoming spaces, and bring people together.
With Burton’s rich brewing heritage and strong sense of community, The Long Hop felt like the perfect next step. Whether you're popping in for a pint, gathering with friends, or sitting down to a proper meal, we’re here to make you feel at home.
ABOUT US

The Long Hop is located in the heart of Burton-upon-Trent, just a short walk from the town centre and train station, perfectly placed for locals and visitors alike.
We have our own well lit car park with lots of space. Sometimes when we are really busy it gets full, there is always plenty of street parking a short walk away in the village.
Spaces in our car park are not marked out with paint, please do park responsibly.
If you are a blue badge holder, please let us know in advance and we will make sure there is a space reserved for you.
